today is THE DAY. if you know what i'm talking about, you know what i'm talking about! if you don't know what i'm talking about, i will tell you that today is the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!
i was excited since wednesday night after watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. being the avid disliker of harry potter movies that i am, i was VERY surprised to find that i actually liked the movie. weird. that's another story, however.
i was excited yesterday, when i was emailing claire and eunice about harrypotterharrypotterharrypotter. i was excited this morning when i woke up at 6:57am and watched my phone until it turned 7:01am, then quietly exulted that THIS is the moment and millions around the world are feeling the same way too. i'm excited now, sitting in my house, waiting for the post man.
there are a couple of other feelings that go along with this day. like eunice, i feel that this article by Stephen King sums it up pretty well.
now if you'll excuse me, i'm going into hiding until i finish the book so that no one can surprise me with a snape_killz_dumbledore msn nickname. DEATH TO SPOILERS.
